Begin Update<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

What You\u2019ll Need<\/strong> \u2022 \"\" A Micro-USB cable<\/strong> \u2013 to connect your device\u2022 A Windows computer<\/strong>\u2022 Firmware file <\/strong>\u2013 download below<\/p>\n\n

Step 1<\/strong> – Disconnect<\/p>\n\n

Locate the Bluetooth device and disconnect<\/strong> it from the CAN-bus. <\/p>\n\n

Step 2<\/strong> – Download Firmware<\/p>\n\n

Download the latest Firmware version.<\/p>\n\n

Step 3<\/strong> – Connect to PC<\/p>\n\n

Plug the device into your PC via Micro-USB.<\/p>\n\n

\u26a0 Make sure the CAN-bus is disconnected<\/strong> first!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

Step 4<\/strong> – Transfer the Firmware<\/p>\n\n

A folder will automatically open when the device is connected. Drop the firmware file into the folder named BLE5-CAN-BL<\/strong><\/code>. <\/p>\n\n

\u26a0 When the Firmware is dropped in the BLE5-CAN-BL<\/mark> folder you must wait until the folder, 1. closes<\/strong>2. reopens<\/strong>3. closes again<\/strong>This happens automatically and indicates the file has been processed. Please Note<\/strong>: The date and the file name do not change after the process is complete. <\/em><\/kbd><\/strong> <\/mark>Side Note: Sometimes the folder will close & reopen but does not close again. If this happens, please drop the firmware file in the folder again and it should work. Otherwise right click on the BLE5-CAN-BL<\/mark> drive and choose to eject to safely disconnect the Bluetooth dongle from the computer. <\/em><\/kbd> <\/strong> <\/mark><\/sup><\/p>\n\n

Step 5<\/strong> – Reconnect<\/p>\n\n

The only thing left to do is to plug the Bluetooth device back in to the CAN-bus.<\/p>\n\n
